Camp Visit
The raiment was unfamiliar: a beautiful gown of white. Long and flowing, it softened your appearance. Yet the look was not so different from what I remember, and I longed for the days when shadows are short, when I could stay with you for more than just a few hours.
Your gown of white will be gone then, replaced with summer clothes of green and brown. And though you seem lonely now, many will gather in your presence. They will sing and cry and laugh. They will share stories, unspeakable stories some, others full of comedy. They will learn about God and about themselves. They will experience love, and that love will save them.
