New Ministry & Book Festival
It's official now: I have been called to be the pastor of Bixby Knolls Christian Church in Long Beach. Yeah!
(And my first day "on the job" is tomorrow.)
In other news, our family attended the Festival of Books this weekend at UCLA. The highlight for my boys was meeting D.J. MacHale, author of the Pendragon series. It was hot, and there were about 50 bazillion people there, but we had fun.

Congratulations! It's not often that one is voted upon and the next day begin the ministry.
I know that Bixby Knolls is a fortunate congregation.
