Waiting, Walking, and Writers

Another quiet week. I wish there was more to report. I really do. Like, "I have a new job confirmed!" But the waiting game continues...

As I wait, I continue to take trips to the nature preserve, to walk the trails with my sons or whoever will go with me. This time, I took a couple of pictures that I really liked:

I also took the new picture at the top of my blog. I'm going to miss that nature preserve when we move.

Finally, I'm left wondering why the current writers' strike is such a big deal. Even on NPR, that seems to be the most important news story of the week. "Oh, the horror! The tragedy! Leno is in reruns!" I don't get it. And I'm from Burbank.
