Harry Potter Weekend

24 hours from now, Ginger, Tristan and I will be at our local bookstore celebrating the release of the last Harry Potter book. Last week, while we were out of town, it dawned on me that this momentous event would happen while Ethan was away at camp. The same thing ran through Ginger's mind, because she said to me one day as we were eating lunch, "Hey, when does the Harry Potter book come out?" Having just made the realization that it comes out this week, while Ethan is away, I quickly shushed her.

Sorry, Ethan.

Strange thing is, as big of Harry Potter fans as we are, we have yet to see the most recent movie. So this weekend, it's book AND movie. And, to commemorate all this, here's the results of another useless survey I took recently; and, as I look at these results, I can only say, "Whew, but that was close!" Then again, if Severus Snape turns out to be a good guy after all, these results won't bother me too much. And btw, I have much too high a regard for rules to be matched up with Harry Potter....
