Hot Summer

I guess it's been hot all across the U.S. this week. It was 108 here the other day. Ugh.

Blogging will be taking a back seat for a few weeks. We're going out of town next week, then the week after that, I'm directing a week of camp for 4th-6th graders. Meanwhile, my father-in-law is in the hospital, and the stress from that has forced my wife to back out of a commitment she had made. Our congregation is involved in controversy (which, I might add, began with comments made in worship while I was away in Virginia).

Anyway, any writing right now won't be all that good. So if you like what you read here, mark your calendars, I'll probably be back the second week of August.
