Riding out the Storm

Just a quick update, since my next workshop starts in 15 minutes... My time here in eastern Virginia (near Washington DC) continues. Some of the rooms we've been using here at Virginia Theological Seminary have been damaged by floodwaters, but we're carrying on. We've been joined by DMin & MACE students who are beginning their summer sessions, and the campus is quite active.

The spouses/partners of the 25 clergy attending this event went home yesterday, but unfortunately, many had lengthy delays at the airport due to the weather. My wife, Ginger, got home 12 hours later than she had expected. And even as I type this, the thunder is announcing the arrival of another storm.
