Homeward Bound
Today is our driving day. Homeward bound. Tired. Joyful.
I received a couple of comments/emails asking about specific resolutions/actions taken at the assembly. Please visit the website of DisciplesWorld for all that and other news about the assembly.
I'll probably take a break from blogging for a couple of days. As much as I've enjoyed blogging about General Assembly these past few days, I wish I had had more time to really write. Mostly, these posts have been my impressions, and have appeared here without me taking the time to fine-tune and revise them (and eliminate the typos). An idea hit me, and I'd just find a computer somewhere, type it in, and click the "publish" button. I would have liked to have spent a little more time with these reflections before posting them, but General Assembly is a busy place and keeps you moving.
Thanks for reading. I'll be back next week.

can't comment on your wife's blog as I'm not a blogger :(
but wanted to send love and blessings to you as a family. What she wrote about "your 15 year old son" touched me
Disciples World gives text and one person's take on it, but it doesn't give the first hand commentary that one would expect from bloggers.
I'm really surprised and disappointed by the level of blogging by DC bloggers -- short perfunctory comments, no discussion of the issues that were debated, no sense of what the atmosphere was like on the floor, or around the coffee pot before and after discussion. That's what blog readers look for!
Anonymous, I'm with you. A wrap up on the net worth reading:
